The National Employment Service (NES) was instituted specifically for the ease of meeting employer/job seeker needs. We make the connection between job seekers and employers. At present, clients can call or visit the office closest to them.  Offices are located throughout Trinidad and Tobago as well as through partnerships formed with foreign organisations, equipping you with job opportunities within and beyond Trinidad and Tobago.

Why NES?  

The services of the NES are at no cost to employers or jobseekers, offering a distinct competitive advantage given the cost of recruitment and selection in the current economic climate. Offices are strategically located throughout the country for easy accessibility.

Finding the right fit!

The NES assists employers with finding the right fit to meet their staffing needs. Potential candidates are pre-screened and assessed for educational, skills and work related competencies. Employers’ requests for staff are carefully matched with suitable candidates and shortlisted candidates are referred for interview and assessment.

Graduates and Students - Preparing for the World of Work

The NES partners and participates in World of Work (WOW) Seminars externally. Our internal WOW seminars have provided an avenue to disseminate information in a group setting on subjects relating to career guidance, résumé writing, interview techniques and understanding self.  Our partnerships with secondary and tertiary level institutions/schools in their career day activities and preparing students for the world of work have gained tremendous popularity.
